For the Sweet Potato Casserole:
  • 4 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Pecan Topping:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  INSTRUCTIONS  




1) Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

2) In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, milk, melted butter, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

3) Transfer the sweet potato mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

4) In a separate bowl, prepare the pecan topping by combining the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and chopped pecans. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.

5) Sprinkle the pecan topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture in the baking dish.
